An automated pipeline for scattered light noise characterization

چکیده

Scattered light noise affects the sensitivity of gravitational waves detectors. The characterization such is needed to mitigate it. time-varying filter empirical mode decomposition algorithm suitable for identifying signals with time-dependent frequency as scattered (or scattering). We present a fully automated pipeline based on pytvfemd library, python implementation tvf-EMD algorithm, identify objects inducing scattering in gravitational-wave channel their motion. application LIGO Livingston O3 data shows that most due penultimate mass at end X-arm detector (EXPUM) and motion micro-seismic range.
